BMW reported a 20 percent jump in automobile sales to 12,778 compared to 10,679 in Febuary 2001. The Febuary 2002 total includes 1,510 all-new 745i sedans, that went on sale Febuary 19th.
The company too reported sales of 3,145 BMW X5 Sports Activity Vehicles compared to 3,029 sold a twelvemonth ago, an increase of almost 4 percent.
Sales of Certified Pre-owned vehicles were remarkably strong, too, with 3,334 vehicles reported, up 16 percent from the 2,864 pre-owned vehicles sold a twelvemonth ago. This performance marks the strongest Febuary for Certified Pre-owned BMWs in history, eclipsing the previous record of 2,965 sales set in Febuary 2000.
